​Ray Johnston Counseling Services is a private practice that has operated in Nacogdoches, TX since 1990.


Ray values quality of attention  and offers flexibility in order to meet the complex needs of his clients. His practice covers a broad spectrum of topics and issues. People from all backgrounds are welcome.

  • Substance Abuse Professional for the Department of Transportation since 2004
  • Frequent adjunct professor for Stephen F. Austin School of Social Work courses
  • Conducted over 500 seminars and workshops on a wide range of mental health topics
